🌜 Inspiration 🌜
I had the inspiration for this Moon Pillow during a hot summer night to contemplate the starry sky (the best season of the year to do it!). I love watching this sky so much 🤩
It had also been some time that I was looking in the store for a cushion shaped like a moon to decorate my bed but I couldn’t find what I wanted. There was not that kawaii side. The addition of the small stars on my moon pillow was done for that kawaii side precisely. 🥰
This moon pillow also has a link with my pattern from the Starry Night Wall Hanging that I released a few years ago. I took the same model of the stars to transpose them on the Pillow!
And finally, I wanted to add this bubble of sweetness in a place conducive to sleep and so I also imagined this Moon pillow in a child’s room with pastel colors.
⭐ Some technical details about the Moon Pillow ⭐
Easy and quick to make, the pattern of the Moon Pillow is quite suitable for beginners who like crocheting pretty decorations!
I used chenille yarn to add this incomparable softness to my Moon pillow. But, you can also use velvet yarn or even thick cotton yarn to have a beautiful cushion shape!
Regarding the chenille yarn, I advise you to plan for at least 150g of yarn. You will also need quite a bit of stuffing, so plan for at least 200 to 300g of stuffing.
Finally, this pattern of the Moon Pillow will allow you to unleash a bit of creativity with the choice of colors. An infinite combination of colors is possible and I can’t wait to see what you choose!
This pattern is suitable for crocheters with a beginner difficulty.
