Hello everyone !
Today, I share with you a very easy pattern to make in connection with Easter of course 😁
Small colored eggs to decorate your home for Easter, offer them to your children / grandchildren or just to make you happy.
Shortening
R: Row
sc: Single crochet
Inc: Increase
Dec: Decrease
*…*: Repeat around the row
For eggs with single color
I made them with a 3 mm hook and a 3.5 thread to have the following finished sizes:
Height 2.36 inchesWidth 1.57 inches
R1: magic ring with 6 sc
R2: 1 Inc in each sc (12)
R3: sc in each sc (12)
R4: *1 sc, 1 Inc* (18)
R5: sc in each sc (18)
R6: *2 sc, 1 Inc* (24)
R7 and R8: sc in each sc (24)
R9: *3 sc, 1 Inc* (30)
R10 and R11: sc in each sc (30)
R12: *3 sc, 1 dec* (24)
R13 and R14: sc in each sc(24)
R15: *2 sc, 1 dec* (18)
R16: sc in each sc (18)
Stuff with wadding.
R17: *1 sc, 1 dec* (12)
R18: sc in each sc (12)
R19: 6 dec (6)
R20: Reattach your thread (with your wool needle) into the outer strand of each stitch. Then, pull the thread. This allows a clean and invisible closure. Tuck the remaining thread.
For rainbow’s egg
I made them with a 3 mm hook and a 3.5 thread to have the following finished sizes:
Height 3.14 inchesWidth: 1.96 inches
You will also need the following thread colors: Pink, Dark blue, Light blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red.
With the pink thread:
R1: magic ring with 6 sc
R2: sc in each sc (6)
R3: 1 Inc in each sc (12)
R4: sc in each sc (12)
With the Dark blue thread:
R5: *1 sc, 1 Inc* (18)
R6: sc in each sc (18)
R7: *2 sc, 1 Inc* (24)
R8: sc in each sc (24)
With the Light blue thread:
R9: *3 sc, 1 Inc* (30)
R10 and R11: sc in each sc (30)
R12: *4 sc, 1 Inc* (36)
With the green thread:
R13 to R15: sc in each sc (36)
R16: *4 sc, 1 dec* (30)
With the yellow thread:
R17 and R18: sc in each sc (30)
R19: *3 sc, 1 dec* (24)
R20: sc in each sc (24)
With the orange thread:
R21: sc in each sc (24)
R22: *2 sc, 1 dec* (18)
Stuff with wadding.
R23: sc in each sc (18)
R24: *1 sc, 1 dec* (12)
With the red thread:
R25: sc in each sc (12)
R26: 6 dec (6)
R27: Reattach your thread (with your wool needle) into the outer strand of each stitch. Then, pull the thread. This allows a clean and invisible closure. Tuck the remaining thread.
You can embroider her eyes with black thread like the photo above.
