Hello Rainbows 🌈
It’s early March and it’s almost spring! 😍 The season that marks a renewal in energies and nature, the appearance of flower fields, the warmth of the sun .. in short, it is my favorite season and it is also one of the seasons that inspires me the most .
With my new attraction for crochet jewelry and my love for spring, I created a new pattern that combines the two: the crochet flower ring 🌼 And as I want to share this pattern with as many people as possible, I offers it for free!
This pattern is perfect for small projects and for using your leftover balls. It is very quick and simple to make. Completely suitable for beginners. Tested and approved by my team of testers 😄 I hope you like it too.
I made a video explaining in detail how to make this ring. You can also find the written version of the pattern. I let you discover all that below 🔽

Shortenings
R : Row
sc : Single crochet
Inc : Increase
Dec : Decrease
SlSt : Slip stitch
CH : Chain
dc : Double crochet
hdc : Half double crochet
*…* : Repeat around the row
For the ring
Make a number of chain stitches necessary to surround your finger. For me, I cast on 17 chain stitches.
R1: CH 17 and close the ring with 1 SlSt
R2: CH 1 + 1 sc in the same stitch as SlSt + 16 sc (or according to the number of stitches you make) and finish with 1 SlSt to close the row
R3: CH 1 + 1 sc in the same stitch as SlSt + only on the back loop -> 16 sc (or according to the number of stitches you make) and finish with 1 SlSt to close the row
Cut and tuck the threads at the back.
The base of the flower
R1: magic ring with 8 sc + 1 SlSt to close the row
R2: CH 1 + only on the back loop -> 1 sc in the same stitch as the SlSt + *2 sc, 1 Inc* x2 + 2 sc + 1 SlSt to close the row
With the remaining threads, either:
– cut and tuck the threads and we will glue the flower later
– keep them to sew to the ring later

The petals
The flower is made up of two rows of petals. We’ll start with the front row, outside.
Outer row petals:
-> Tuck the thread into one of the stitches of the outer row. Cast on 3 CH and make 1 dc in the same stitch where the CH are.
-> Go to the next stitch and make 1 dc + 3 CH and 1 SlSt on the same stitch as the double crochet. 3 CH again and go to the next stitch to make the double crochet.
-> Perform this process all along the row to have a total of 5 petals and finish with 1 SlSt in the starting stitch. Tuck the threads in at the back.
Inner row petals:
-> Tuck the thread into one of the stitches of the inner row, taking only the raised strand. Make 2 CH and make 1 hdc in the same stitch where the CH is.
-> Go to the next stitch and work 1 hdc + 2 CH and 1 SlSt on the same stitch as the hdc. Again 2 CH and 1 hdc in the next stitch.
-> Perform this process all along the row to have a total of 4 petals and finish with 1 SlSt in the starting stitch. Tuck the threads in at the back.
Assembly
You end up with the ring and the flower.
Either sew the flower to the ring with the remaining threads or glue the flower directly to the ring.
There you go, you made a pretty crochet flower ring to add a touch of spring to your daily life 😄🌺
