I’m continuing my series of Halloween patterns with a simple, cute little charm that has many uses. This charm features a ghost and a pumpkin and will help personalize your headphone even more, following up on the crochet pattern for the Witch Cat Headphone Cover that I shared with you recently.

🎃 Inspiration 🎃
I wanted to personalize my headphone a little more with Halloween colors, building on my crochet pattern for the Witch Cat Headphone Cover. For the Halloween Charm pattern, I wanted to add elements that weren’t already included in the Witch Cat Headphone Cover. The pumpkin and ghost motifs are quintessential symbols of the Halloween season.
As I was designing the Halloween Charm, other possible uses came to mind. I attached it to my keys as a keychain, and it looks great on them—but that’s not all! I also attached the Halloween Charm to my bag and my car’s rearview mirror. There are so many ways to use it!

One of the advantages of this crochet pattern is that it’s very easy and quick to make, whether you’re a beginner or not. I’ve also provided detailed instructions for each step so you can make it as easily as possible—and, most importantly, without any hassle!
Since it’s so quick to make, this Halloween decoration is also perfect as a last-minute gift.
This Halloween decoration doesn’t require much yarn. It’s perfect for using up those leftover balls of yarn you don’t know what to do with.
This pattern is suitable for beginner crocheters.

(to be done with Color B -> orange and Color D -> brown)
The pumpkin stem (Color D):
R1: CH 5
R2: from the 2nd stitch and in the 3rd loop behind the chain, make 1 sc then 3 other sc (4)
Tie a double knot with the remaining threads and
cut off the excess.

The base of the pumpkin (Color B), to be done twice:
R1: magic ring with 6 sc and finish with 1 SlSt in the 1st stitch of the row (6)
R2: CH 1, 1 Inc in the same stitch as the previous SlSt. Then, 1 Inc in each. Finish with 1 SlSt in the 1st stitch (12)
R3: CH 1, 1 sc in the same stitch as the previous SlSt. Then, 1 Inc, *1 sc, 1 Inc* x5 and finish with 1 SlSt in the 1st stitch (18)
R4: CH 1, 1 sc in the same stitch as the previous SlSt, 1 sc, 2 Inc, [3 sc], 2 Inc, 4 SlSt, 2 Inc, [3 sc], 2 Inc, 2 sc and 1 SlSt in
the 1st stitch (30)
Fasten off and weave in ends for the 1st part of the pumpkin.
Keep the thread from Part 2, and we’ll assemble the two parts.

Place the two pieces wrong sides together, parallel to each other, and insert your hook through both pieces to make 1 SlSt.
Then, continue with 29 SlSt.
Insert the stem at this point, as shown in photo opposite.
Make 1 SlSt with the stem to incorporate it.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
